It all began with a storybook, a love for tiny stitched clothes, and a second-hand sewing pattern bought with saved-up Saturday job wages. I’ve been sewing ever since. From those early days of learning on my own, to years spent alongside skilled makers, and later studying heritage dressmaking here in the Outer Hebrides—my path has always been stitched together by tradition, creativity, and care. Now, settled in Uig on the Isle of Lewis, I create garments that reflect the values I’ve carried all along: sustainability, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to place. Every piece I make tells a story—quiet, considered, and made to last.
